THE OKUPA STORY
As with all unconventional ideas, OKUPA started with a strong desire shared by a few people: We felt it in our gut to create a space that breaks the usual social barriers, where people from all walks of life come together under one roof.
Our interpretation of the Spanish word “ocupar” (to occupy) therefore stands for the reinvention of spaces: behind even the smallest of our decisions lies our mission to connect communities across borders and build a bridge between locals and travellers.
